Rich has been working with legislators on a couple of social equity bills, including the Paid Family and Medical Leave Act and today’s passing bill on pay equality. A key part of this bill is about preventing potential employers from asking about past salary. This inequity is perpetuated when employers base their pay off of previous salaries. Today’s bill has been a step in disrupting this current inequitable system.
