Two logos chosen for Logo Lounge 5.
For the past 4 years, Logo Lounge has created an annual catalog of the best logos from around the world. This year 35,000 logos were submitted for consideration. A small fraction, less than 5%, were selected by a jury of international design pros. Two of our logos, one for a local arts council and one for global Motorola, will be published in the
up-and-coming Logo Lounge 5 book. We’ll send word when it’s on the bookshelves.
Two of our guys featured on ConnCreatives.
If you want to know what’s going on in design and branding in the state of Connecticut, you’ll want to check ConnCreatives.com. It’s well written, current + relevant. This week, Brian Grabell + Troy Monroe are featured in what may amount to the most idiosyncratic interview since Hunter S. Thompson stopped talking to himself. Incidentally, this is the official announcement for 2 guys who’ve been with co:lab for about a year now. Time flies, for sure.
Logo launched at Youth Rally.
We had this idea: what if a bunch of tweeners and teens— trained to do tasks like building houses, painting rooms, tutoring youngsters— swooped down on their communities to give back to those in need? We posed that very question to a few folks, and 3 months later Giv2 was launched with interest spreading across multiple states and a plan in the works to turn the idea into a national program. We’re continuing to develop the identity to include collateral, uniforms, transportation signage, web + all forms of public awareness support. Though we prefer to show more complete projects in The Loop, we are just too excited about Giv2 to wait.
