LORENA ITURRINO  (she/her/hers)

With a passion for form and function, it’s no surprise that Lorena found her calling as a designer. Her remarkable talent allows her to articulate visual concepts with grace and efficiency. (We’ve had clients literally cry because she’s captured them so beautifully.) Design is so natural to her that even her salads at lunchtime are artfully composed.

Lorena started her career at OverAbove (formerly Outthink), working with big brands like Royal Caribbean, Kerzner, and Marriott, as well as local clients like Mohegan Sun Casino, Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, and Ivoryton Playhouse. She joined CO:LAB in 2012 to challenge the purpose of her design and the application of her craft.

Her work has won many awards and has been featured in books on design. A leader in Connecticut’s creative community, she served as an executive board member for the Connecticut Art Directors Club from 2008-2014, culminating in two years as president of the organization.

Lorena grew up in Peru. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Central Connecticut State University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Information Design. She lives in Portland, CT with her outgoing husband and adorable kids.
