01 | Mission
Encourage social justice and literary activism by exploring the legacy of Harriet Beecher Stowe and all who advocate hope and freedom then and now.
02 | Brand Goal
While our mission is rooted in the legacy of Harriet Beecher Stowe, our brand goal is brought to life by the relevancy of our daily work in the pursuit of truth, justice, and equity.
To achieve that goal our voice remains accessible to the whole of our community. Our design is Contemporary and takes cues from the present-day liberatory design vernacular. Words matter and we use them pointedly. We want to invite our community to participate in a conversation that’s happening right now. We believe the connection of past, through present, and into our shared futures is awe-inspiring even in the instances that it generates from dark places. The spirit of our brand is determined and brave in it’s pursuit of redemption from the injustices of the past. We seek new-found opportunities in all that we now know to be true. And we act proudly and with high spirits guided by a sense of wonder that insists on lifting up hope over and over until the principles we believe-in become the cornerstones of our community. Our brand challenges thinking while lifting up people—that’s where change happens.
03 | Logo
Our logo is designed to display in multiple directions to compliment any layout. It represents the inclusiveness and diversity of participants in the dialogues we encourage.
