Everybody, say hi to Katherine!
Katherine came to us just in the nick of time while we were hard at work on the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving’s 2017 GreaterTogether event. We needed support from a real pro to handle a mountain of design as we highlighted the beauty of the region and the work of the Foundation for that fun night. She was just what we needed. Now, she’s officially joined the team and we are so excited to welcome her!
Background on Katherine: She has degrees in Photography and Women’s Studies at the University of Rhode Island, and Graphic Information Design from Central Connecticut State University. She’s from Vermont. For a large part of her childhood, she lived completely off the grid – once in a tipi and once in an 1800s farmhouse – with no electricity, running water, or plumbing. Yup, she had to use an outhouse. Luckily, she’s now on the grid, and putting her pragmatism to good use with design.
