Free Center is our baby. It’s one of the fastest growing nonprofits we know of and we are proud. Tactically, the organization is a community impact incubator providing free access to space and support for organizing, meetings, events, and programs. From activism to wellness, art, community engagement, and more, we turn possibilities into opportunities with the simple, whimsical, infectious utterance of the word “free”. Try it and you’ll see what we mean. Say “free” three times in a row as if there were no strings attached—say it like you mean it. That’s the spirit we want to capture with every single Free Center engagement whether we are offering aerial yoga on a Thursday evening, or inventing a way to distribute $300,000 a year to Black and Brown independent artists to produce their dream projects.
